Like the mighty Grizzly bear, Bear Creek is built on strength, resilience, and a deep connection to the land we call home. We’re family-owned, locally operated, and firmly rooted in the Prescott area—not a distant corporate office making decisions from somewhere far away.
We intentionally keep our team small and capable, much like a Bear that knows every inch of its territory. That means stronger relationships, better communication, and personalized service for every owner, tenant, buyer, seller, and community we serve.
At the head of the den are Brenda and Clayton Heath. They opened Bear Creek Property Management & Associates LLC in 2016 and have been charging full speed ahead ever since—bringing more than 21 years of combined property management experience and a deep understanding of the Prescott area and the people who call it home.
Brenda is Bear Creek’s Designated Broker, a proud Prescott native and third-generation Prescottonian. Recognized as an Airbnb Superhost and VRBO Premier Host, she leads all vacation rental operations with precision and care. Clayton served the Prescott community for 30 years with the Prescott Police Department before retiring to help lead Bear Creek full-time; today he handles property inspections, maintenance oversight, and the day-to-day operations that keep every den in top shape.
Together they’ve built not only a successful business but a strong family—proud parents of three children, grandparents to five grandchildren, and the delighted great-grandparents of their first great-grandchild.

Every bear den needs a Papa Bear—someone who keeps watch over the territory, checks for trouble before it becomes a problem, and makes sure the den stays in top condition. At Bear Creek, that's Clayton.
While Clayton is one of the owners of Bear Creek Property Management & Associates LLC and the proud husband of our Broker, he also serves as Bear Creek's dedicated Inspection Specialist. If you've received an inspection report with photos, there's a good chance Papa Bear was the one behind the camera.
🐻 Keeping Watch Over the Den — Clayton conducts monthly exterior drive-by inspections and comprehensive annual interior and exterior inspections of investment properties throughout the portfolio. After each inspection, he prepares detailed written reports complete with photo documentation so owners can stay informed no matter where they live.
🐻 The Honey-Do Specialist — No task is too big or too small for Papa Bear. From installing signs and delivering keys to coordinating move-out repairs, overseeing cleaning crews, and handling countless "honey-do" projects around the portfolio, Clayton is always ready to lend a helping paw.
🐻 Move-Ins, Move-Outs, and Everything Between — Clayton conducts move-in and move-out inspections, helping document property conditions and ensuring every den is ready for its next resident. His attention to detail helps protect both owners and tenants throughout the leasing process.
🐻 Real Estate Professional — In addition to his inspection and property management duties, Clayton is a licensed Arizona Real Estate Agent specializing in listings. Whether helping owners prepare a property for sale or evaluating market conditions, he brings years of local knowledge and practical experience to every transaction.
🐻 An Outdoorsman at Heart — When he's not inspecting properties or checking on the den, Clayton enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time outdoors. And when he can find a rare moment away from work, you'll likely find him restoring and working on his beloved 1970 Ford Bronco—or, as he jokingly puts it, continues to work for his wife.
From monthly inspections to move-out turnarounds, Papa Bear keeps a watchful eye on the den so owners can rest easy knowing their investment is being protected.

Michaela has been a valued member of Bear Creek Property Management & Associates LLC for more than 14 years and serves as our dedicated Bookkeeper. She is responsible for processing owner statements, rent payments, financial reports, account reconciliations, and keeping the financial side of Bear Creek organized and running smoothly. As a licensed Realtor®, she also assists throughout the company, making her one of the most versatile members of the Bear Creek family.

As Bear Creek's Repair Coordinator, Michael helps owners, tenants, contractors, and vendors navigate the sometimes-icy waters of property maintenance. Whether it's coordinating repairs, scheduling vendors, or responding to unexpected issues, he works diligently to keep every property running smoothly.

As Bear Creek's Administrative Assistant for the Phoenix area, Wesley helps oversee our growing presence in Maricopa County. From installing signs and lockboxes to monitoring properties and assisting with day-to-day operations, he helps ensure our Phoenix-area properties receive the same attention and care as those closer to home.
🐻 Exploring New Territory — Currently attending Real Estate School, Wesley is preparing to expand his role within Bear Creek and continue building his knowledge of Arizona real estate and property management. His goal is to become a licensed real estate professional and take on additional responsibilities within the company.
🐻 Keeping Watch in Maricopa County — While Bear Creek's roots are firmly planted in Prescott, Wesley serves as our boots on the ground throughout the Phoenix area, helping support property operations and maintain our growing portfolio.
